Lewis Hamilton’s impact on Formula One is completely underestimated.

His multiple history making victories in winning and equalling the most Formula One ‘Championships’ wins ever, is more than just an amazing achievement, there are more remarkable history making achievements that he has done, within the links at the bottom of this article.

His success applies to all and encourages girls and boys, male and female alike, whatever skin tone or country you are from, throughout the world.

What is completely underestimated is what Lewis Hamilton shows us all, which is, that he also has been a parallel champion in highlighting truths, arguably the other important and fantastic side to his success, that he has not fully been recognised for, in shining a huge light on the failure of the greater society to carry out an examination of itself, as follows:

Lewis Hamilton could have easily found himself in the same or similar situation as Stephen Lawrence did, as any person of darker skin tone could and still can.

Lewis Hamilton did not go around hurting anyone, he was not a troublemaker, all he was seeking was a bright future, just like Stephen Lawrence. Lewis Hamilton as a young man with a darker skin tone, could have been attacked and killed by racists, just like Stephen Lawrence was (See PDF Link: The Stephen Lawrence Inquiry Independent Report_Report of an inquiry by Sir William Macpherson).

Lewis Hamilton’s and Stephen Lawrence’s families supported their individual son’s positive aims and ambitions, they wanted the best for their individual son’s and their children also wanted to do their best, and were doing their best. This is also true for so many darker skin toned parents with sons and daughters.

However the child of one family made it and the child of the other family did not, in this case Lewis Hamilton made it and Stephen Lawrence was killed by racists.

Just think of the amount of loss of darker skin toned people, with equally brilliant talents of a Lewis Hamilton in other professions, caused by racism, and by the hands of racist, now really think and realise what has been lost to the world by the racist killing of people like Stephen Lawrence.

However do not stop there, you do not have to go as far as racist murders, to see what racism would have done to Lewis Hamilton, if it had not been for his farther and family and those who stand up to fearlessly speak out against racism, before he had developed his skills as a child. You do not need to go as far as murder, to see and understand  the amount of injury, denial of rights, misinformation, discrimination, lies, obstacles, negativity, hate and more, that are part of the aims of racists and racism.

What is calculatingly worse and inexcusably wrong, is that there are those in society who consciously and wilfully with full knowledge, consistently and continually uphold turning a blind eye to racism, merely because it does not affect them, or their place in the world. I hope this article shows you how much everyone in the world has lost to racism and what is being lost everyday to racism around the world. It really does affect you even though you may feel it does not, or whether you face it or not. You cannot  claim  to be the best in the world, if you are suppressing the competition by the egregious acts of racism.

Lewis Hamilton successes represents the highlighting of, the failure of the greater society to carry out an examination of itself.

What about darker skin tone people crime on darker skin tone people? – This is a ‘tear drop’ in the oceans  when compared to what has taken place through racism and slavery for over 400 years.

It is crystal clear, there is a world wide festering wound, sore and gaping chasm, of hate and wilful racist hypocrisy within societies throughout the world, because there are still those who protect racism and racist institutions in all its forms.

‘Black Lives Matter’, Lewis Hamilton’s darker skin toned life matters, Lewis Hamilton’s black life matters, he is a role model, for all nationalities, skin tones, races, young people, older people, he is a substantial figure within our society, and therefore what he symbolises and represents, shows that he is being underestimated in societies around the world.

If he ran for political office, I would vote for him, such as the impact of his presence, what his life highlights and what he represents, as a beacon, guide, a role model, example to all, by clearly demonstrating, and stating that ‘Black Lives Matter’, his life is a beacon of rejecting racism to all those who are racists.

Lewis Hamilton’s achievements and contribution, inspires within us the understanding that; providing equity to people of darker skin tones produces value, that everyone is equal, that we all just need to be given the rights to ‘equity’ and that we all just need to be given the rights to the proper and correct tools, to show it, shout it and celebrate it.

Lewis Hamilton is a black life and his life matters, and he is only one life, and look at the impact he has made!

‘Black Lives Matter’ his life matters, how many more lives should, could, and must now matter? Such is the impact of Lewis Hamilton, he like others are showing everyone, that there is a huge and glaringly obvious racism ‘Elephant in the room’ within all societies around the world.

I am not saying that all darker skin toned people are another Lewis Hamilton, but what I am saying is all darker skin toned people could be potentially like a Lewis Hamilton in all other professions, when I state like him, I mean if given equitable opportunities, darker skin toned people are role models of great work, decency, effort, ambition, focus and opportunity, all these things that Lewis Hamilton parents have given him, instead of all the wonderful potential brilliance that was taken away from Stephen Lawrence and the world, because he was killed by racists.

A gift of talent given to the world in the form of Lewis Hamilton, could have been snuffed out by racists like those who killed Steven Lawrence and snuffed out his potential brilliant gift to the world. This is what keeps happening throughout the world to darker skin toned people, this is why ‘Black Lives Matter’ and other anti-racism movements and groups have been formed, consisting of all skin tones, ages, backgrounds and professions. Every, child, young person and adult around the world, needs to understand this, and understand the brilliance and gifts that they have to give to the world, which is opposite to what the racists lies state verbally and in everything they have written.

Just like Lewis Hamilton and Stephen Lawrence, your gift, whatever form it comes in, will change the world, you just don’t know it or realise it at the moment. 

I am not holding up Lewis Hamilton as a saint or superhuman, but he has shown that when a person of a darker skin tone has the right to compete equitably, they can be the best, which completely obliterates the core philosophies and propaganda of racism.

The reason why Lewis Hamilton is so important to the world, is because his gift shows you the way.

Thank you Lewis Hamilton and your family, for shining your individual lights around the world, for all to see the dishonesty and robbery to humanity that racism breeds.

I cannot tell you how Lewis Hamilton sees himself, or what he thinks, but this is what I know, think and believe:

Lewis Hamilton’s actions in formula One shows us all the truth, louder than many words in the past have, we are also fortunate that his words speak equally as loud. Lewis Hamilton is just one person of many, who encourages everyone to look around you and see all the other people of darker skin tones, who potentially are a Lewis Hamilton in other professions and other areas, all over the world.

Whether Lewis Hamilton thinks he deserve this or not, I think he does.
